THE REASON WHY
From a very young age, I developed a deep love for creativity. My earliest inspiration came from watching my father work on cars, clocks, and anything mechanical that ended up in the garage. I would often be nearby with a pencil and paper, sketching cars, trucks, or anything with wheels. I continued to nurture this passion, but it wasn't until college that I transitioned my love for creativity into a career. During my experience in the 9-to-5 workforce, I realized that what I enjoyed most was the variety of tasks each day brought. I love starting my day with the opportunity to be a problem solver. This can take many forms, such as creating an updated logo for a band or a brand-new logo for an emerging company. I also enjoy developing supporting materials for brands, whether digital or print, and visiting companies in person to capture photo and video content. Building a website from the ground up and being involved in every stage of the project is particularly fulfilling.
Overall, I wake up each morning motivated by the opportunity to share my creativity and invest it into my clients' companies.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
Where do you work?
Anywhere and everywhere. Although being at the desk in the studio is great, I find balance by creating away from the desk. Although it may not be the most visually pleasing settings, this is where some of my best ideas and designs have originated from.
Favorite travel spot?
Travel is a huge part of my lifestyle. Traveling helps me grow creatively and as a person. After traveling all over North America, Banff, AB gets picked as number one.
Other hobbies outside of the studio?
If I am not at the computer or behind a camera, I can be found hiking, camping, fishing, working on my truck or doing various carpentry projects. Most recently my free time has went to restoring a vintage 1972 Airstream trailer from the ground up.
